Bringing the farm to you

On 30 & 31 August 2014, Food Forest Farm participated in the Merdeka Day Bandit’s Alley Flea Market at Kong Heng Square at Ipoh. This is the first time that we opened a booth at a market and we were determined to set up a beautiful booth that would attract people to our produce. In the end, we’re not sure if it was the beautiful red tomatoes or the booth set up that drew people in but we sold out nearly all our vegetables!

Our sister lodge, Moonriver Lodge, also shared our booth to promote their special Malaysia Day and Deepavali farmstays and home made pumpkin marmalade, made from the abundant harvest of pumpkins at Food Forest Farm.

We look forward to setting up pop-up farm stalls in the future. Watch this space for updates from our side!
